Welcome to my page, my name is Christina Buhler.  I grew up in a small town in Texas, but moved to the beautiful city of Calgary 23 years ago when I married the man of my dreams.  I have worked with kids all my life. I have taught preschool, traveled all over the southern states doing camps for kids, and  worked in a mental health hospital with kids and youth. Currently I direct a homeschool program and I do respite care for newborns in the foster system.

 

I have 4 children of my own that I adore. Looking back on my times as a new mom I found myself lacking so much general knowledge of the postpartum time . I wish I had someone at that time to walk alongside me, to reassure me that things were going to be ok, and to lead me in the direction I needed to go. My goal is to help nurture you  the mom, so that you  can better nurture your  baby. As your doula I want to remind you that you are the mom, and to trust your momma gut. I want to encourage you and remind you of your goals and values. I will support you when you are vulnerable and when you are strong.
